How to fill the Release Order form on the Punjab Anaaj Kharid portal (anaajkharid.in),
step by step. Written for millers and rice mill staff who fill RO every morning when quota opens.
What you need before you start
- A miller login for
anaajkharid.in(username and password from the portal, never shared with us) - The exact mandi names you plan to lift from, as they appear in the portal's Mandi column
- Your planned quantity for each mandi, in MT, and the total you are allowed today
- Your mill's licence details already registered on the portal
- Optional: RO Saathi installed in Chrome with a saved profile
Step by step
1. Open the portal and log in
Go to anaajkharid.in, open the miller login and sign in with your mill's credentials. Use the same browser every day — Chrome remembers the session and the extension's saved profiles live in that browser.

2. Open the Release Order page
From the miller dashboard, go to the Release Order / Preferred Challan section. This is the page where you normally select the RO type, transportation mode and the mandis you want to lift from.

3. Check today's quota before you type anything
Look at the quota or entitlement shown for your mill. Note the total MT available today. If you enter more than your entitlement the portal rejects the order, so plan your mandi quantities against that number first.

4. Choose the RO type and transportation
These two choices decide the rest of the form:
- RO type: Within District or Outside District
- Transportation: With Transport or Without Transport
- Within District: also choose Within Milling Center (Miller) or Outside Milling Center (Non-Miller)
- Outside District: also choose the preferred dispatch district
In RO Saathi these are the dropdowns at the top of the popup, so the same choice is applied on every autofill without retyping.

5. Enter the mandi rows and quantities
Add one row per mandi, typing the mandi name exactly as the portal shows it. Enter the quantity in MT. The portal's own SEARCH button looks up each mandi and returns the live details; if the name does not match, the row fails.

6. Fill the form — by hand or with Autofill
By hand: select each dropdown and press SEARCH on every mandi row, one at a time.
With RO Saathi: click AUTOFILL FORM. The extension sets the dropdowns, adds the mandi rows, triggers the portal's own SEARCH on each row and waits for the live response. It does not submit anything.

7. Review every row before submitting
Check four things: the RO type, the transport mode, each mandi name, and each quantity. Confirm the total matches what you planned and is within today's quota. This review is the step that catches a mistyped mandi — do not skip it.

8. Enter the CAPTCHA and click PROCEED
Type the CAPTCHA shown on the page and click PROCEED. The portal validates the form and returns the result. Save or print the confirmation if you need a record for the mill.

Common mistakes that cost a slot
- Mandi name spelling: a name that differs by one word fails the portal SEARCH and the row disappears.
- Total above quota: the portal rejects the whole order, not just the extra row.
- Wrong RO type: Within District and Outside District change which mandis and fields are valid.
- Refreshing mid-fill: a page refresh clears every row you added. RO Saathi's Reload Assistant updates the extension without touching the open form.
- Submitting without reviewing: the CAPTCHA and PROCEED step is yours; a wrong row submitted is a wrong order placed.
Timing tips for the 9 AM quota release
- Log in a few minutes before quota opens so the session is ready.
- Keep the RO page open; avoid logging in and out while quota is being released.
- Have mandi names and quantities decided in advance — deciding while typing is what costs time.
- If the portal slows down, wait for the SEARCH response on one row before adding the next.
Questions millers ask
Do I need RO Saathi to fill RO?
No. Everything in this guide works by hand on the portal. RO Saathi is a time-saver for millers who fill the same form every morning.
Does RO Saathi submit the order for me?
No. It fills the form and adds mandi rows. You review the totals, enter the CAPTCHA and click PROCEED yourself.
Can I fill RO on my phone?
The portal is designed for desktop. RO Saathi is a Chrome extension for Windows, macOS and Linux laptops or desktops.
What if a mandi name is rejected by SEARCH?
Open the portal's mandi list or the dropdown for that field and copy the name exactly as shown, including spelling and spacing. Retry the row.
Does the extension store my portal password?
No. It never reads or stores your portal password. Profiles, mandi lists and the licence key stay in Chrome's local storage on your computer.
Is my quota guaranteed if I use the assistant?
No. Quota release and allocation are controlled by the portal. RO Saathi only removes retyping and checks your total before filling.
